one o the most recent explosions (?) in Philippine economy and politics are the "shortage" of rice and it's price hike...
And some rice warehouse owners keep rice and wait until rice production is obsolete and sell their stocks in higher prices per kilogram.
They planned to do this but eventually are attacked by the hungry citizens and media and tell them that they are keeping it for "emergency" times...
yeah right...
they are starting the crisis...
in my opinion there is no rice shortage, just rice hoarding and dumb price hiking just to increase profit...
poor farmers and us regular people....
